There is a terrible vacuum in evangelical Christianity today. The missing person in our ranks is the prophet. The man with a terrible earnestness. The man totally otherworldly. The man rejected by other men, even other good men, because they consider him too austere, too serverly committed, too negative and unsociable.

Men of God like this have been used to shake me out of a deathly slumber. Hanging on to this world my faith was always drastically stunted and dieing. Learning to let go of it all and surrender to the Lord giving Him the rights he deserves to my life has been a wake up call to the importants of obedience I needed. In Acts 5 God has promises to pour out His Holy Spirit on those who obey Him. He is true to His word.
